The Tribal Youth Ambassadors (TYA) of the California Indian Museum and Cultural Center (CIMCC) are currently working on a food sovereignty project that aims to highlight the ways in which California Indian community members can incorporate California Indian traditional foods in our daily lives. The goals for this project are to create a dialogue and strategies for enhancing food sovereignty and health among California Indian tribal communities throughout Mendocino, Sonoma, and Lake Counties.
If you are from a California Indian tribe please assist the Tribal Youth Ambassadors (TYA) efforts in assisting our local community members in connecting to traditional foods. Please support this effort by filling out the following survey link. Your answers will help the TYA develop traditional foods resources for our local tribal communities.
Respondents that complete the survey will be entered in raffle for prizes.
